ACROVIEW released a software update to support the programming of Melexis' smart embedded motor driver MLX81206
Supporting the most widely used LIN 1.x/LIN 2.x and SAE J602 standard digital communication interfaces in the automotive industry, the MLX81206 is a simple solution for driving many high-power brushless DC motors. Supporting sensored or sensorless 12V motor drive, the MLX81206 is ideal for silent high-performance HVAC blowers, engine cooling fans and pumps in conventional, hybrid and all-electric vehicles. Not only does the MLX81206 meet the needs of essentially continuously running BLDC motors in pumps, blowers and fans, but it also supports positioning of BLDC actuators. In addition, this series also features TruSense sensorless brushless DC motor control technology.
Melexis combines high voltage analog circuitry with digital technologies including flash memory, non-volatile RAM memory and embedded microcontrollers to create this highly integrated embedded driver. This makes the MLX81206 an efficient and complete single-chip solution combining hardware and software.
The synergy of sensing technology and drive control gives the MLX81206 obvious advantages in size, performance and stability. The device can easily interface with a variety of sensors, such as the MLX90380 resolver for driving dynamic pumps in field-oriented control (FOC).
TruSense Technology
TruSense technology combines magnetoresistive measurement with back electromotive force (BEMF) sensing to provide highly accurate rotor position information over a wide dynamic range and widely varying load conditions. Therefore, very demanding applications operating at unknown torques, such as transmission oil pumps, can also be controlled sensorless.
A pulse width modulation (PWM) drive scheme can be adapted to any motor current waveform for the highest possible efficiency, low torque ripple, and lowest conducted and radiated emissions.
TruSense additionally supports very fast motor startup and very low speed operation. TruSense supports square wave rectification, trapezoidal and sinusoidal motor currents, and enables low noise performance.

The AP8000 Universal Programmer writer independently developed by ACROVIEW Technology includes three parts: the host, the bottom plate, and the adapter seat.
The host supports USB and NET connections, allowing multiple programmers to be networked to achieve the purpose of simultaneously controlling multiple programmers and burning at the same time. The built-in chip safety protection circuit ensures that even if the chip is reversed or short-circuited due to other reasons, it can be detected immediately and power off to ensure the safety of the chip and the programmer. Embedded high-speed FPGA greatly accelerates data transmission and processing. There is an SD card slot on the back of the host. Put the project file created by the PC software in the root directory of the SD card and insert it into the card slot. Through the buttons on the programmer, the project file can be selected, loaded, and burned, etc. Command, in order to achieve the purpose of being able to operate without the PC, which greatly reduces the cost of PC hardware configuration, and is convenient and quick to match the working environment.
AP8000 makes the host more expandable by adding an adapter board to the base plate. At present, it has supported devices produced by all mainstream semiconductor manufacturers, including TI, ST, MicroChip, Atmel, Hynix, Macronix, Micron, Samsung, Toshiba, etc. The supported device types are NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, EMMC, etc., and file formats including Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, POF, etc. are supported.
